Commercial law also covers mergers between two businesses or when there is a business takeover. There are always certain agreements made in this type of transactions and the law requires to keep all agreements in good faith.

Commercial law can govern the relationship between business and financing institutions, such as banks. Commercial law deals with legal issues in business and commercial transactions.
